Artist biography.

 

Nancy Nguyen is of Vietnamese descent, born and raised in Winnipeg MB, Canada. She carries a Bachelor of Fine Art Honours from the University of Manitoba and is a working freelance graphic artist. She has a strong interest in themes of Buddhism and reimagining her cultural roots as a Việt Kiều 越僑 ('Vietnamese sojourner'). She is currently practicing the Japanese art form of arranging flowers - ikebana, as well as other related forms of traditional Asian art such as sumi-e ink painting and tea.
